Korkers 2011 boots and shoes

Some of the new Korkers products have arrived at the shop.

One of the shoes people are most interested in as it is the replacement for the Torrent is the Hyjack.

Korkers Hyjack

This the new studded insert most fisherman will be looking for. The new design should eliminate the occasional tendency to fall out that the old one had for some people. Also the studs are moved a little closer to the edges. It is NOT compatible with any of the older shoes: OmniTrax v3.0 Studded Rubber

And here's a couple models for those looking for more ankle support:

The Redside

The Metalhead

Pete,
Is the redside the replacement for the ultra lite? I thought they were coming out with another boot similar to that. Not sure if that's it or not.

I was just searching around the net for another pair of the ultra lites before I saw this.

A few places have them for short money but all are odd sizes. If they don't release a similar replacement I might just bite the bullet and get another pair of the old version for full price.

The new korker boots (angle support) weight 2lb 13oz or 45 oz per pair

The previous ultralites weight 35 oz a difference of 5 oz per boot.
The absorption of water is minimized making up for the difference. The chrome model is waterproof with no absorption due to the material which it is stated to be like raft material.

When they say "true fit sizing" dud they change the sizing over last years products. I heard a few people complaining that they were sized very small, up to 2 sizes.

Everything is better on the rocks.

Everything "should" be more accurate; i.e. if you're a 10 you're a 10.

For those thinking of older boots buying older boots, the older style inserts for them should be around long enough to not be a problem.
