Well we had to pull the boat last friday as the docks had to come out at the marina, What a downer day!!!
In a few more days it will be covered till next spring. UUUUUGGGHHHH
I hate winter and the offseason.
Well it was one hell of a year, we started out with a really slow mackerel run, then more bait than big fish, but the end made up for the whole season with big bait as far as the eye could see and big bass and blues everywhere.
I was able to get out last Tuesday before the big blow and we still had a ton of big bass and blues and bait everywhere. Not too bad for the last day of Oct.
I had Pam Kearney out with me and we caught about 8 bass between 25 lbs and I had 2 fish , 1 was 29 lbs the other was 28 lbs. Had a bunch of blues as well but not as big as we had been getting them, most were between 6 & 8 Lbs.
But for the last day on the boat it just did not matter as we had bait too ourselves all day and bent rods, AAAHHH Life is Good!!!!
This year turned out to be one of the best years for Boston Harbor with more big bass than we have seen here in 20 years. Lots of Tuna, even though we only got out 3 times for them this year. I hope with all the big Bunker, ie. Pogies we had this season that they will be back in full force next season and the year will be better than this one which is hard to beat.
Bill & I would like to thank all of our clients and friends this year who helped us us once again pull off another successful season. We look forward to hearing back from some of our clients from this past year as I am sure there are alot of fish tails going to help us get thru winter.
I have added all of the rest of the pictures from the season to our photo section, please feel free to check them out and enjoy.
We hope you all have a very healthy and Happy offseason, and we will see ya on the water in May.
Tight lines,
Bill & jules
