179 - Striper Talk Striped Bass Fishing, Surfcasting, Boating

Hey 179 -

I was fishing Saturday morning, from maybe 8:00 until 9:30, in a boat off of East Matunuck State Beach. Was that you I saw in the 20-foot Scout with the Suzuki? Beautiful-looking rig. I was in a 23-foot Seacraft, we were right near you a couple of times.

How did you do over there? We only managed a few small blues. Eventually we motored over to Charlestown Breachway, where we got a decent mixed bag of bass & blues.

Yeah I was there but I think it was probably about 9-10:00am I was playing with the toothy ones popping up. I think I saw your boat I remember saying to myself "nice boat"....I love the 23' Seacrafts. Hopefully John R will bring me out on his when it's finally wet....

Thanks for the compliment on mine she ran the tables with Tuna, Bass, and Blues this weekend.
