Angry 100 BUCKS!

I need to renew my FID card and now it cost 100 bucks!

This money grubbing, stealing, pilfering, robbing, no good state we live in raised it from 25 bucks to 100. WTF that is like 400 percent increase.

I was reading through this thread http://www.striped-bass.com/vbulleti...&threadid=6710 and some mentioned it would be going up to 50 but I guess they want us to just eat the cheese and give in and not bother to own a gun anymore. I only have one gun and it cost me $120 new, now I have to pay some rediculous amount to keep an FID card that used to be valid until revoked. They suck.

100 bucks a year!Thats harsh, glad I moved to Maine. No permit needed unless it is for concealed carry, the last time I renewed it was 25 bucks for 5 years.

Good thing I have an understanding wife.

Slip, That's exactly what they're hoping for. They want people to think it's too much money and just not renew. Bastages!!!!

Lightbulb

Um, just looking at my old FID card when I was living in Wellesley. If memory serves me correctly, when I got mine over 10 years ago they were valid for life. And they were free of charge (at least where I lived).

My resident license to carry (issued FALP, this was before all this "Class A" nonsense) was only $20!!!! And it was good for five years.

Talk about inflation....

between higher license rates now and our GLORIOUS gun laws (can we say brady bullch*t?) that do nothing... its obnoxious and annoying to own guns sometimes

I believe it's still good for 4 years like last time, but don't quote me, I still have to put in the application.

Ben, you are correct, the FID card was once valid for life. Well the legislature eneded that life.
