Was in LI this past week and decided to do a little fishing while I was down there. Didnt make it to Montague but fished the Sound. Tons of Blues in the 15 lb range but only a few linesiders. How the fishing holding up in the Cape area? Are there still alot of bass around?
Ben---that's been the case all season. No bait inshore. Last summer Stony Brook and Port Jeff harbors had tons of spearing and snappers. This year---almost zilch.
