Talking Trip for LARGE Bass, Feb or March 2004

Eff winter. Thinking of booking a trip ... a looooong road trip for LARGE bass charter in mid-winter. Yes I said mid-winter.

Was gonna go last year but a #!@$ ice storm resulted in cancellation. That was fine, b/c I just did a u-turn in Delaware and headed up for the S-B shin-dig in Fairhaven...that same night.

Trip will require some gas money, and an overnight stay in a motel, as well as charter fee itself. I think there is room for a 4-6 pack. There is also some interesting shore fishing in the area.

Who's interested? (BM - you can't go since you bagged on me last year ... )

Also a shot at tuna on an offshore trip. Yes I said tuna in February.

-WW

So, ya wanna go on a trip with the famous Captain Cato huh he practically gauruntees to whack'em and stack'em but those fish don't count

I may be up for some of that "stupid fishing" that Thill does, we'll see. Other than that, no charters for me in Feb. March.

BasicPatric...I think Slipknot is referring to "fishing from a boat" when he mentions "stupid fishing"!!!!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

"Stupid Fishing" is a term I personally use to refer to fishing in which you cast anything out there, and as soon as it hits the water before you even make one trun of the reel, you are on. It takes no skill to fool the fish when the fishing is stupid. My favorite kind of fishing.

I was trying to figure out what fishing was . I must be stupid . So if you see me fishing you can fish left or right of stupid .

stupid fishing is when it takes no brains to catch em like relite green lite said .

the only thing stupid about boat fishing is the cost of gas .

I'm definately interested, in fact I plan on emailing Tony to find out about how this winter might fair and time tables and all. I also want to find out if he is free to fish or locked up building houses. As always job and famile might have the final say, but I'd love a shot at a little larger winter striper fishery.
