Saltheart, martial arts icon
I got a couple of icons , but will come up with more to see if one of them match or compatible with the rod and imaging style.

Notaro , You have to take size into account. The top one is no problem. The bottom one will have no detail by the time its shrunk down to fit on the rod. To have good visual impact , you want to see the whole picture at once without turning the rod so it has to fit on about half a circumference of the blank near the foregrip. usually about 3/4 inch or so.
It'll be a custom decal Billy.

The top one is fine with me, but do you think that you can add a word "wicked" with the Japanese character?

COOL!
Are you getting these made from Decal Connection? THat second one you should try and removing the background, and just leave the guy standing there in the pose. Reduce it and print it on a regular piece of paper to see if it loses it's detail. I agree it may not work, but it's worth a try.
SOmething to think about - if the blank diameter is too small, but the picture would look good if there were more blank to work with, put a couple coats of epoxy first, then instal the decal over that.
That's too cool a picture not to give it a shot.

Billy40, that's what I'm thinking. It would be too cool. And besides if anything happens to me, you guys can identify me on the rocks, you know?

Did you see the letter in the first picture? Emebllish it with a shadow, glittering, and sparkling lettering on it and add a word "wicked" in english (something in the modern that symbolizes thuggish attitude, like a asian italtic style you see on a chinese fast food takeout place).

Fonts:
Stacatto 555 Bt
Viner Hand ITC
Andy
I think most of these are free downloads at some sites, I happen to have them with my version of Corel Draw 8. If you like them/need the font, and can figure out how I can e-mail it to you, tell me and I will do so.

Notaro, you've goten beyond my ability here. I'm not a photoshop , graphics type guy. I'm a rod builder. Whatever you want in a decal , just supply me the finished graphic and I can get it made into a decal and put it on the rod.
