For those coming Saturday.....

I got a bunch of extra tomato and pepper plants if anyone wants some. Let me know here by Friday 2:30 PM and I'll be sure to bring some along.

Put my wife in charge of that this year, well I'm not sure I will do that again. I'd be interested, especially if you have any yellow/orange/red peppers, I like the sweet ones over the plan old green peppers. My wife's are about 3-4 inches high and looking pretty bleak. Normally I start hardening them off about now, but I'm not sure those puppies are going to survive, let alone thrive.

I'm 90% sure I will be coming so let me know what you have rgsiroisco@neaccess.net

Psst Bob....

.....those green peppers will turn red if they are left on the plant long enough (assuming they aren't a variety that takes too long to mature during our hot weather season).

If your wife's peppers are that frail looking, I think you are right about planting some extras. In my experience, if tomatoes, peppers or eggplant get of to a slow start and look kind of droopy for any length of time, they seldom rebound into vigorous plants that will bear a lot of fruit.

Isn't it nice I come to a fishing board to discuss gardening? Finally I had a chance to contribute something. What the hell do I know about stripers anyway? LOL. Tight lines.

Hey bud what's up? Didn't know you were lurking around here...lol. No largemouth here, but those aren't real bass anyway. How's the fishing out in Worcester?

Tight lines and I'll call when it's hot, I mean can't catch another one kind of hot, arm's going to fall off kind of hot, figure one week max, soon...very soon.

Yeah, I check in here every so often to see how the other half lives. If it didn't take so long pulling the board up on my browser (I think the problem lies with my overpriced hunk o junk computer, not the board), I would probably be here more often.

Not much fishing for me lately. I've been straight out with work for the past couple of weeks. My balance sheet is looking healthier than it has in a while, but I'm just about ready to run away and join the circus. The word on the street is that the rockbass bite around here is superb. ^_^

Supposedly, I will be fishing the Merrimack this weekend, but that routine mostly consists of hitting my friend's folks back yard (right on the river), throwing out some bait and swilling beers until the bugs make you crazy. It has its charms, but I much prefer your methodology.

Needless to say, when that red hot, can't hold your arms up anymore bass bite arrives, and you're looking for a partner in crime, I'll have bells on. Knock em dead during your tourney.

I've got a straight dial up connection, but this board always loads slower than any of my favorites. Getting threads to load after clicking the link is a grind too, I can sometimes finish half a cup of coffee while I'm waiting...John what's up or is it just us?
