Herring in the Runs @ the Cape

Hi guys!
Anybody know if there are still herring in the runs @ the cape. Going to venture down tomorrow am early, but if somebody can tell me different, I will try to get bait @ the locks in Watertown.
Also, anybody know if the EPO's will give me a hard time for using a Sabuki rig in the Charles?
Thanks,
Rick

You may want to be safe and hit Watertown anyway... As far as DEM at the run, they'd be genuinely suprised at anyone not taking 4 times the limit that you might be OK (WTH is a Sabuki Rig??)

John,
I meant Sabiki maybe (the Hayabusa feathers). Anyhow, I went down thee with my net today and filled my livewell with 20 herring in 15 minutes.
Each and every one got me a good fish @ Bass Hole in Dennis this am. Most 24-28. One 32. All fish had at least one fish follow them into shallow water...the 32 had a 36 or better follow it in...
For 1 1/2 hrs. I was in heaven, then I went to work.
Later,
Rick

John,
If it were pounds I wouldn't have gone to work. I definately would've stayed out fishing!!!
Clammer,
You might want to make the trip up north and then back down south. It's easy for me to say this, the locks are five minutes from my house.
I'm going down cape again next Saturday with more live herring. If you're going to be there, too, tell me later in the week and I'm sure I can spare you some if I have enough.
Rick
