Had A Great Time - TFCTF Part Deux
Another great get-together. Good to see the old gang and put faces to new friends. Fabulous food and prizes.
Don't know about you, but I had to change my shorts after that Fish_Eye video.
Note to whoever brought the Swedish meatballs... they were
Way to go John!

My First TFCTFN.....
Had a blast meeting all you great people at the TFCTFN last night, great people, food aplenty, and lots of great raffle prizes. (I am a little disappointed I did not win the clam rake) I understand the Redmonds are in the planning stages for a July clambake?????
I sat down to eat with a couple of buddies and a gentleman who wore no nametag....turns out I had the pleasure of feasting with the esteemed Fish Eye, Mike Laptew. A real pleasure Mike meeting and talking with you. Thanks for the great video. Definate "pants off" fish porn!
The MSBA group, of course, was strong in attendance.....great to see all my buddies Fisherwoman, Baitcaster, BasicPatrick and his Lady Fair Melissa, Bobbike and Mrs. Bobbike, Topwater and Kelly Kelly Kelly, BEETLE, Flatts1, heck even Bubba was there!
The Missing Link family (great onions and finally a name for the damn cat! Vinny works!) We will fish!
Specialist....great seeing you and meeting your lovely wife. (We will also fish!)
Rappin Mikey and Rick Bomba....yo what up wit dat chit bro! Nice meeting the homies!
Redlite great seeing you, you're a hoot! (Much fishing to be done) T-Lap a pleasure meeting you considering we do alot of jousting here on the site (all good) everyone needs a good ribbing now and then.
#^^^^^^^^^^^&....we will get him, worry not!
Waterfordstriper, nice to meet you, thanks for bringing my Newell Guy customs! Bliz, good to see you. Fishweewee, what can I say except...where the hell was the Interplanetary Angler?
Last but not least...JohnR, thanks for a great nite, a great site and a bunch of people who are alright! (Also thanks to the Mrs.....enjoy the rake)

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

I think I'm still full, man was that a lot of good food. Great to see the familiar faces, met some new members, yet somehow never found the time to get around to meet everyone.
Best part of my night was winning Clammers photo, I wanted it when I first saw it, too cool I can hang it and enjoy it anytime now.
That video was too sweet, man almost makes me want to hook up and go, but my arse is dragging today and I've got paperwork to catch up on.

We had a great time, it was nice too meet many of you, I need to get around more at the next get together.
I always complain about my hour plus ride to fish but after talking to wee wee, I realize I have it pretty good.
The highlight of the night was winning the raffle to build the custom rod with Mike at M&D. I can't wait to get started.
John and all the folks that organized this, you did a great job and thanks for everything.
Funny observation, while we were waiting for Mike L to start up the show, he was showing the Crocodile Bay promo, the room was full of conversation as the promo showed the rooms and facilities, as soon as the first fish showed up on the screen, I think it was a sailfish, the conversation volume dropped 80% and all eyes were on the screen. It happened so natuarlly that I had to laugh.

It was *finally* nice to put a face and shake a few hands with folks I have been anonymously chatting with for the past few years.
Fisheyes work is simply amazing. It is simply without question the best underwater fishing video work of striped bass ever taken. A MUST HAVE. The underwater sounds of the bass’ “tail beats” as they pulsed away were awesome. How does one hold his breath that long?...I think this guy has spent so much time down there that he has actually evolved a set of gills. You'll know where you can find me parked next season.
Some folks walked away with some very sweet sticks, great plugs and other gear. No complaints here...I got a free B&J charter fishing trip along with some other goodies I can't wait to try out!
Again, it was great to meet you all and thanks for a great evening.
PS. I am trying to tie one of those "Navel lint" flies that worked so well.

We had a great time last night too It was good to see the bunch of you all again, I didn't get a chance to shoot the breeze with everyone I would have liked to but it was nice putting faces with a few names I hadn't met before. The food was excellant and the FishEye presentation was second to none I can't wait for the dvd to hit the shelves. Another successful fund raiser in the books for John Everyone that donated stuff and congrats to all the winners, there was some awesome stuff given out. That clamrake was a big hit

a truly remarkable night!!! The support from all the folks that attended, brought food and or prizes for the evening just goes to show you what kind of special community we have and enjoy here at s-b. John you should be proud.
John i will treasure the rod, and mass bass thanks ever so much for the beautiful reel. i'm still in the state of WOW!!!!!
It was wonderful to get a piece of turkey and all that incredible food!!!!
I want to thank Felicia (happy birthday) and Katie for all their help at the door and with the raffle tickets. Great job girls. GB, and Bliz it wouldn't have worked so well without you guys. Bill that booming number calling voice of yours, I promise to never complain about it being too loud again!! Alot of other folks that pitched in and did what had to be done without hesitation.
Thank-you
