Special thanks to Everyone involved with the Plug Project!
Thanks to everyone who has donated one of their creations to the Plug Project!
The debut of this display was a huge success this past weekend!
So many people had great things to say about the creations that were donated!
Many people loved the idea of being able to see the works of many craftsmen in one venue, and I'll have to admit, the pic's posted up by Christian do not do justice to the amazing work that was displayed!
If anyone else has some, post them up!...
I already have many stories to tell in regard to this project as a result of it's debut this weekend!
I plan on writing some of them down so that they can accompany the display at future events.
This was a great opportunity as well to point many toward this site, as it has an incredible storehouse of wealthy information and wisdom to offer the 1st time plugbuilder.
The community on this site is A1!... you should all be as proud as I was yesterday when I saw the reactions on peoples faces as I explained that the display came together as a result of many of you stepping forward!
The most coined phrase yesterday was... "WOW!
I must admit, when I think of everyone who constitutes this site, I say the same!
Thanks to all!
Keep up the great work!

Thanks!... I really do appreciate your imput!
And yes Steve, I am going to put some identifiers into the case with each plug as these are mounted in.
Does anyone know where I can find some gold finish "chrome-like" plastic self adhesive numbers?
I am looking for something say 1/2'' or so?...
I want to index accompany each plug and have a guide along with the collection that tells about the person who created it!
I didn't have enough time to getit out this past weekend, but you can bet that I'm on it!...

Great job Bliz
...on putting the project together
I hope my friend that you were sitting with donates one also.
Also, I must admit that each night as I was locking up the show, all I could think was how those two cases could fit perfectly in the back of my Jimmy.

Thanks PNG for your input and for being there on both days to help in fielding questions.
So many were absolutely blown away at the quality that you guys put into your Plugs!
Many are looking forward to seeing the Display again with their creations inside.
As for taking them home Bigfish,... I take stewardship over this project very seriously...
You all deserve at least that!...
Thanks also to Al Gags for sending in one of his original creations from about 25yrs ago along with an early production run of his Slammer plugs!... they are slated to arrive today.
Those will look great in the case with the other museum quality pieces!...
You were right Chris, when you say that this was a genesis for many interesting conversations...
Both young & old really enjoyed seeing this at the show.
The exciting part is that this is just getting started!
I'm looking forward to many more anglers kicking in one of theirs!...
I can guarantee all of you that I will be very careful to whom I pass this collection onto for display when I am too old to do it.
Thanks again to all.
Even the major plug manufacturers were blown away by your work!...
Gibbs and Al Gags were some of many who were greatly impressed by your craftsmanship.
