well, i talked to the seller on the phone a little while ago. i guess the seller manages 7 pawn shops in Florida. they sell a ton of stuff on ebay, and packaged the wrong reel. the guy i talked to said the reel will be shipped right out. i also emailed the seller, though, and someone responded saying that they were "minutes away" from emailing me as they had just figured out what happened. the odd part is that the guy on the phone, who claimed to manage the ebay account, said he did not send me the email. i didn't mind a few years ago when i got screwed on a $20 atom, (back when you could actually pay that for one) but i will not let this go. doesn't eBay do something about re-imbursing its members? i think it is for items over $50 or something.

I've probably spent close to 10 grand on ebay the past 5 years. Never been burnt, although I never deal with people if the feedback isn't close to 100%...

Only had ONE bad experience, and it was kinda my fault.
Bought this machine from a guy with a couple a negatives (mistake # 1). Weighed about maybe 100 lbs tops. Guy charges me $175.00 shipping. Stupid me I agree to it and gave my credit card, so mow hes got my email and CC # as proof, cant dispute that.
I Find out later from the shipper he actually paid $90 . This had nothing to do with Palletizing either, that was seperate. He just decided he didnt like my bid, so he tacked on more shipping.
Hes not a seller anymore, apparantly he did the exact same thing it to about a 8 other people (i emailed 2 of the negatives & they confirmed it) Hes no longer a seller. Lets just say he was having trouble with bogus bids for a while by "newbies".

Funny thing was , the guy then calls his ship co. and yells at guy in charge there for them telling me the actual price(i know how to get info) and the shipper calls me back on the fon demanding to know how I found out , so i tell him I think it was YOU wans't it ?, i wans't gonna get the poor girl that gave me the info in trouble, not her fault.
Lesson learned. Arrange your own shipping if you can for larger items unless you know the rates.

T, I Really hope you get your reel, and enjoy it.
not trying to hijack your thread...
