Rain be damned!

Fished a favorite spot along the north end of the Sakonnet river shore tonight and got 7,two which were just shy of 27".The action immediately stopped at the change of tide. All were caught on a 1 1/2oz blue/chrome Kastmaster with single hook bucktail.
Did anybody else fish tonight? How'd you do?

Nah, I passed - I got wet enough last nite didn't want to push my luck since I've been sick for a week.

Everything was just right for the south end too BW - I'm actually feelin' better figured I'd save it for tomorrow -

1 oz Rhody Red tin with white feathers was the key last nite - after the Crafty Bill stopped working

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.
