Nauset and Coast Guard beach

I am going to the cape this Saturday and was planning on fishing Nauset and Coast Guard beach. I am not really familiar with thses areras and was looking for some advice such as the best tides, bait, lures, etc. to use. Also, if anyone knows of any other places that are hot right know on the cape I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance, Derek.

RE:Nauset and Coast Guard beach

Im assuming you're going to fish Coast Guard Beach in Eastham, not in Truro. The walk to Nauset Inlet is a killer, but can payoff. I'll be up there today through Friday and I'll fish the back beaches in Wellfleet and Truro. Putting your time in on any of those beaches (Ballston, Newcomb Hollow, Longnook, Head of the Meadow) should result in a few decent fish. Work them thouroughly with eels. Dont fish there if you want numbers, but I think its your best bet for a fish over 25 pounds.
