I agree it's a good way to start out the day.

I had a decent morning as well. Fish were not surface feeding as they have been over the last week and a half - but I did manage a nice 33" striper trolling.

A nice whitetail deer swam by. She was making her way from prudence to Popasquash point. I doubt any of us could have made that swim - but the distance didnt seem to bother her at all. I followed at a distance to see if she'd make it. SHe climbed up the rocks of the $10 Kajillion home on the point and proceeded to feast on their flower bed!

RM- Nice fish

BA-I've seen several deer swimming in just about the same place over the years. They can swim for miles. Pretty neat.

The deer wouldn't take surface plugs, eh?
That is the crazyiest thing I have ever heard of while out fishing. I am bringin' the shotgun with me from now on.

I get up at 3:00 am to go fishing before work. Makes for a long day. Not quite as bad when you know your having stripah for dinner when you get home. I wonder if anyone has ever mistaken a deer for a sea monster??

The beach I live on here in Portsmouth also has early morning visitors.Scared the @#$% out of me the first time I saw them.
I also tend to get up early to go fish. Not quite as early as you since all I gotta do is step out the back door.

I don't know about you guys, but that pic looks fake to me!!!! Look carefully at the part where his hand touches the fish. We all know there aren't any stripers where RM fishes.

nice fish mikey

Its easier to wake up early and go fishing then partying all night and trying to go towork. I got my skunk off my back last night. Felt good.

Someone should have held his head underwater until he drowned, I would have gladly volunteered to do it for him.

Insanity is a long and winding road ... I think I finally made it there.
