Weekend Plans?
You GOTTA be fishing this weekend, right? I'm hoping to get out at least once but a relatives party / work may get in the way....
What are you doing this weekend?

Tonights the night!! First real trip of the season (chased schoolies in Matuinuck once already) . Will be jigging at the canal with Smokey. We have plans to get there early and fish sunset and into the night. I wish I had some skins but we do have some artificial things that should work too.
Sat lots of rod building and yard work then time with the babe Sat night. Sunday getting ready to go to Swedfen on Monday.
Seems I'm always way busy lately.

Hitting the canal Saturday evening/night and will probably roam in the general area until Sunday afternoon.
I WILL FIND FISH, and then I will catch them!
That's the plan for now, at least.

Launching in Newburyport Sat. and staying overnight at the public docks. My friend just backed out and can't go so if anyone is interested in coming along Saturday or Sunday morning let me know with a PM. I'd much rather not fish alone. I need to get some macks to build up my bait stocks so some of both days will be spent doing that. If the stripers are around I'll chase those a bit. Also, may go for some cod and haddock maybe as far out as halfway hump depending on the conditions.

Sat am... boston harbor.
I'd like to give the cape another shot, but I can't justify the travel when I'm 10min from the ramp.

Finishing off the display room for The Angler's Art (at last, thank Christmas), searing some prime cow parts on the grill to go with the wild morelles my bro-in-law is sending .......out overnite from the midwest.
And taking my eels for a nice walk to break in my chromed 704 at one point Saturday or Sunday
And hoping my rod-building buddy can replace the gathering guide that got busted on my old Murat the other nite and get it revarnished and dried before the weekend is over.....

Canal with BoyScouts
I'll be at the canal and scusset with the scouts tonite, tomorrow and around sunrise Sunday morning.
I got a few extra stormshad and crippled herring.
Also grabbed a mackerel to chunk off the beach at sunset.
I will be wearing a camo hat and blue plano surfbag.
I may be persuaded to fry up a fillet if you ask nice and share your knowledge with the Boys.
Logging off about 2:30 PM
