biggest fish so far
So whats everyone's biggest bass this season??
I'm still trying to break 20 pounds with my biggest being 18lbs caught on a beachmaster darter... I've had quite a few in the low to mid teens but no monsters yet...I figure when I get back from my trip things will change for the better :
how about everyone else??

Like you, trying to break 20lbs.....
Unfortunately I have picked my fishing days/nights/times unwisely so far. Seems I'm always a tide off. Hopefully things will change for the better towards weekend and next week.

24# but I've seen a 27#er nd a couple of 25#ers caught by my friends. Another friend told me he caught a 23# Tautog from shore. I know this sounds like bull but he told me on Sat night and I could only talk for a minute. I'll find out the soop but he does'nt fish often. We'll have to see on this one.

Ironically my biggest fish this calender year came down at the Thames and was around 20 lbs. To date locally my time out has been limited, but even with hundreds of fresh fish, I've yet to hit a big one. That should change, as I've actually been targetting numbers over size, yeah I'm sick, but I dig light tackle and when you add a heavy current them 25" fish feel like monsters on light gear. I'm ready to live line some macks and ply some spots to look for some weight now thou.
