Boy, and I'll bet that blooofish put up a helluva fight too, Clamma

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.

to bleed them, you need to cut the throat by the gill area.
ya I like setting the hook on a bluefish and having the cigar butt come whizzzing by GS's head at 90 miles an hour
