A friend of mine has a glassblowing studio in arizona...I dont know how he does it
A thing to remember is that there is very little humidity down there, so when its 100° with no humidity, it actually might feel more comfortable than a day around new england thats 80° with 90% humidity.

Talk about dumb moves....
1. Girlfriend moves out there, so I do too....to Scottsdale
2. It was the summertime....
3. Didn't have a car at the time so I bought a bike and shipped it out there.
So, in review, I follow a girl to one of the hottest states and one of the glitziest towns in the heat of the summer with only a bicycle to get around. Yeah, the ride to and from work (restaraunt) was a hot one, especially around mid-day.
And by the way, there is salt there-the Salt River. Tubing the Salt River was one of the best things I did out there.
And one more by the way....girls? The 9's out here wouldn't stand a chance against the 5's out there.

I have played golf out there several times...It is a fun trip. Last time it was a dry heat 105..felt like I was in a blast furance. I drank water...LOTS of water, maybe several gallons, I don't know...the amazing thing was I never pee'ed and my shirt was dry.....That is a what a dry heat does for you.
Fun place to visit...would not want to live there. Az College girls are sure hot...I can say that
