Noticed who hasn't been around....

Noticed who hasn't been around for a few days now? I wonder if Mindi threw him overboard

That is a classic, Saltheart. He may finally realize that actually experiencing fishing is better than reading about it More power to him!

That can be just as bad. If you thought he was a pain in the ***** without taking any fish, just let me get one good one and you won't hear the end of it! Same with a woman.

Back in HS there was this guy who always thought kinda highly of himself. On day he came back from a 3-day holiday weekend with a certain "mark" on his neck. He was totally insufferable for the rest of HS!!!!

This is very amusing. I sincerely hope it turns out okay. However it goes it appears that Mindi is at least causing him to live. Bitter or sweet Patrick it's "stuff", breathe deep of it wherever you are.

It just occured to me: Patrick doesn't drive. So that means either he took the train/bus to meet her somewhere, or, she picked him up.

Think we'll ever hear the straight story?

HA HA HA HA HA HA. You guys are a blast. This is how it happened. Saturday night, I took a cab down to the bus terminal. I picked Mindi up with a rose, candy and a bottle of water. We went to our hotel room and we had a great week of dining, story telling, walking, fishing, and a lot of couply things. If you guys ever want some good restaurants in Fairfield, just ask, I think Mindi and I hit them all

Thursday night, we went out to dinner with my parents and Mindi and my parents hit it off SO well. That was great. Then Friday night, we went out and ate Japanese. Very good stuff.

Then Saturday came and we had to leave the hotel. So we hung out at my parent's house. Then we had birthday cake for my birthday.

We did a little fishing but the stripers weren't around so we got some snappers.

Then we had some trouble. Mindi had to go back 11:15 at night on saturday and go to port authority then go on from there the next morning. I didn't like that idea (neither did my mom) so I rode in with her, we stayed at my brother's apartment and I got her on the bus the next morning. She didn't want to let go but we had too. Then I hopped on the bus and came home. Now I'm all depressed.

To sum it up, I had a good time, she says she had a good time. I'm gonna try and head up there in late september.

Patrick

Smile What a wonderful week!!

I am in LOVE with connecticut...and fishing..and Patrick of course. Needless to say I'm going back there as soon as I can save up some money. Totally sucked coming home but at least I can go back. Thank God for snappers, I thought patrick was going to start throwing dynamite in the water if I didn't catch something.. ('where the hell are all the fish? You HAVE to catch something!!") I left a nice mark on his neck too..lol..luckily his parents didn't notice. His mom and I are eerily similar...scary eh? well anyway, now you all know I'm not a creepy transvestite serial killer...

Glad you had a good time. Sorry the fish that were suppose to be there were not there. I'm sure Patrick can take you to another spot when you come back. As you know the striper coast extend from Maine to the Carolinas. Where are you from anyway?

I'm in western NY...so all freshwater fishing out here. Not nearly as fun unless you're fly fishing and I don't have a flyrod. I'll be glad to get back to the coast!!

Yeah, the fishing was poor. I guess it was tuesday night when I was having a really hard time sleeping and I went out for a walk. It was maybe 1 or 2 in the morning so the Marina guard kicked me out. Only fishermen and boaters are allowed. I went back with my rod. Had a big blue bite a 9 inch sluggo in half and then had a striper on a teaser but both let go.

Mindi is going to be one heck of a fisherwoman. She had a little trouble getting used to a 6'6" rod but at the end of the week she was doing quite well. She told me that she felt bad that she's a beginner but she started whipping out cooking terms and it made me feel incredibly stupid. She even put up with the mosquitoes, little kids, rats, and all the little annoying things. It was a great trip I think.

One night fishing a local bay I saw a rat that literally was the size of a dog!!!!!!!

At first I thought it was a dog, but that humped back was a give away!
