cork tape

When applying cork tape do you use something to lubricate it. Also does it require other adhesive besides its own. I have heard of alcohol for lubricant, or an epoxy as lubricant and extra holding power.

clean blank with 90+% alcohol. Them apply tape it adhesived backed . just peel and stick , trim off the ends cover with tape and wrap a little thread on them.
