Question wanna sell me some rigged eels???

I have been asking around to see if anyone in my area uses rigged eels. Nada. Any ideas where I might be able to get some made up for me? And what kinda price would seem fair? Are they sold in other areas? Just itching to try them, and no time to rig them up........nightfighter

I would think $5 would be fair. The eel costs about $1.50 . I'm too busy with skin jigs but if someone offers to do them for $5 each , you should jump on them before they change their minds.

If I'm not mistaken, West End tackle in Lomg Beach (NY) sells 'em.

Try www.thefishingline.com and see if there's a link or an ad by a Tackle shop in Long Beach.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
I used them YEARS ago, they were great bait.
Probably still are, I just use bait less.

Talking Rigged eels ....how many?

Forget "The Fishing Line" I checked, the link is not there.

Go to www.westendbait.com

They got what you want, in stock.
I didn't check prices, but I bet you can wangle a quantity discount. Hell, I'll take a dozen.

Nightfighter - Do a search and check out Saltheart's article on how to do it, and rig them yourself. It's really not that hard, I did up some for the first time and they came out suprisingly well. Sure, the first one takes awhile, but after that they go pretty quickly. And its not as "gross" as Saltheart makes it out to be in the write up! Besides. if you catch a biggun on it, you'll be all that much more satisfied, having rigged it yourself!
