Rhody 8/5

Anybody interested in doing some surfcasting tomorrow in Rhody? I have been off all week and am itching to go. I was thinking about hitting Matunuck. Send me a pm if anybody has the day off..

This is a pretty good website, but its too bad I have to filter it in order to keep my young nephew from reading stuff like that.

i fished down in south county tonight at dusk. the blues are everywhere. litterally every cast i was getting hit till i hooked up, lost a couple crap plugs. they were all 5-8 pounds, no stripers to be seen. they hit anything topwater. the surf was pounding pretty good, i got drenced by a rogue, if i didnt have korkers on i woulda been swimming.

Everything is better on the rocks.

sorry to hear that DR, you're right, you shouldn't have to filter content. I believe Dave is joking and has an upcoming charter with kippy.

it was truly a day of hell to be honest. we had a good time.
but the idiots out there made Me nuts
1 guy in volvo wagon blocking trail as I waited for His kids to move out of the trail. He walks up and front of My truck and gave me a dirty rotten look stare down , we where in a good mood. so no reason for it. and was waiting a bit for them to move. I pointed out the shoes in the trail so they didnt forget them
well i lost it, out of the truck i come flying. I take no chit from no one . and Im in his face like 2" and blast Him
I dont like being looked down apon I freak out.
He is blocking the entrance where it says no parking with His doors wide open. well i left and didnt care at that point.
Then on the sand a suv has high beems on and fog lights only there bright.
stops where we are fishing.
Now get this if You can belive it.........
2 spot lights mounted on top side ways light up where we are fishing nice side view lights.
now Im freaking
Im walking down into a hole that holds some thing when 2 loads of trucks /people rundown to water and cast where I am start in,
no worrys I have BM needles that cast very very far,
they have no waiders so I shrug it off.( I think there reconised My truck from the on the water magazine)
so on the way out as I have right of way a nice truck with hard tires with very bright lights desides Im to move for Him.
Not happening...... over the side He goes.
the trial is so chow'd its not funny.
Then I loose a BM needle that was a very nice one.
No big deal I got a hundred going out the door monday so I will snag one for Me.
another spot I went to a guy tossed off the top of His rod so i give it to Him after I get it for Him. a thank You would be nice.
only to have His line run By my legs as he rigs up the snoopy rod.
no worrys I know they dont know and just want to have fun.
I was at the land of the ugly stick today .
Ran into the Big cahoona and yapped for a few.
You think being a Guide is easy. ........
Not............
not when Bass say Hey chuck You farly, But I didnt go to plan B that would keep us out till 3 or 4 Am But I will get Him out agian.
Had them laughing there arses off..
You here all the good storys of Fish, But how many tell it like it is.
its called fishing. and thats part of being a pro guide and I take pride in what I do. I only did 140 miles tonight.
I got good pics of Kippy and commercial ST
