wheeee! fishing the gulf stream...

Just set this up to do when I go to South Carolina in a few weeks..

All Day "Gulf Stream" * 11 Hours

Approximately 45 to 60 miles out. 120-250 feet water depth * Fish for vermillion and red snapper, grouper, triggerfish, grunts, and amberjack, among others * Fish average 3 to 5 pounds, with snapper up to 15 pounds and grouper up to 40 pounds * Approximately 3 hour ride out - approximately 5 hours on fishing grounds * Electric reels available for rent $12/reel * Rates include manual reel & rod, bait (squid), tackle, and fishing license coverage

Only $75 - 3 hour ride... ugh.. but hopefully it will be worth it.. Catch some different types of fish.. We did the one only a few miles off shore last year and only caught seabass... I wouldnt mind a nice grouper..

Im really looking forward to it.

It was either this or 6 hours of shark fishing...

It was a close call but I figured if I wanted sharks I can just go down opposite the scusset jetty with chunks..

I think they use squid for bait, but that doesnt mean I cant liveline something.. hehe
