Hey Mike great catch! Probably not what you were looking for but that thing looks pretty cool to me.

Weather looks good all week, are you going to be around?

Nope, and it really stinks too, it just didn't pan out for us. Unforetunately, I'll be working this upcoming weekend but I'll be off Wed - Sat next week. Probably try to head out then.

I have had my best luck for haddock a few miles east of the bank. You usually have to fish over 250 feet deep sometimes deeper but not usually shallower. Altough they will hit jigs and teasers bait works best with clams usually the best but the dogs will find you if they are around. Haddock have a smaller mouth and it is easy to rip the hooks out, go smaller with the amount of bait and hook size than cod. Teasers can be real simple my favorites are just hooks with some bucktail on it with a little piece of bait jus jigged lightly off the bottom.

yeah, what he said.
east of the bank, 250'
we never bring bait with us, only jig to pass the time.
got most on the teasers, the bigger ones on the jig.
circle hooks work good too. goes easy on there paper thin mouths.

Thumbs up

Will do!

Studies have shown that after 100' purple is one of the most visible colors to ground fish! And I am sure that the extreme flash given off by the flashabou isnt hurting any!!

Giving them another shot Sunday with Mike!

Mike lets try to fill the well this time!
