Nautil 7500

Anyone have any experiences with the nautil 7500 pro. I am looking to get one(real cheap on ebay) for my new batson. I have heard good and bad things. Anything I should lookout for.

I've been using one all season and have had no problems. Have it spooled up w/ 50lb Stealth and never had a birdnest at all this summer. The only issue I can think of with it is that sometimes its a little tough to dis-engage the spool because of the rubber casing. Other than that I've been very happy w/ it.

what batson is it?

i got a 6500 (used slighly) like last year, the line roller rusted out because i just treated the real horribly. but i fixed that and ended up making it bail-less. works nice on my lighter plug rod, use it for poppers and rubber jerks mostly. fine with braid.

ps. this reel hasnt seen much sand. so its really not getting much abuse.

live to fish. fish to live. rod tips high.
