Forcast to be off nantucket wednessday. Is this gonna kill the fishing for a bit once this blows through?

Either that or pump it up a notch right before it gets to big to fish...
I dont think they have a clue as to where it's going right now...

Forecast is that landfdall will be between Florida and North Carolina. Lots of room for error. The surf will probably get big as it was with the last storms. 9 foot swells last weekend on the ocean side.

These waves are from hurricaine Karl ,and there is a heavy surf advisory up till at least Saturday afternoon.....I expect we will be hearing from Jeanne tues/weds next week. The water is BIG at first beach in Middletown right now(~2pm) - high tide at 5:15 tonight Big water - (hopefully) Big fish - BE careful

great wave forecast site

If you want a wave forecast, this is the navy site. https://www.fnmoc.navy.mil/PUBLIC/
On the left click on WW3, then north atlantic map, then swell ht. All TAU will give you forecasts for the next 144 hours in 12 hour increments.

Pretty big surf today on Long Island. Couldn't hold bottom with 10 oz. Managed to nail some big blues though.
