what's a surf howdy?
I doubt that manufacturers of them would give up how they are weighted
Just wing it and experiment till you get it how you want it, that is part of the fun.

Ditto what Slip said. Experimentation is part of the fun of building as well as catching on a plug ya made yourself.

If you wonder how they did that...new/vintage plug...just take it to your local vet an get it x-rayed....no need to cut up a nice old plug...it'll show just how something is wired, leaded. how much, what size, where it's placement is..it'll even show you how they drilled it..at what angle, how deep....best part is you'll still have a whole plug in the end with all the know how as too the ineards.

BOAT fish do count.

Ahh, but that would be wrong. You see, Bernzy uses a helium balloon in the center of the plug to help give it the appropriate action. Thats what makes the plug dance so well on top.
