Thumbs up St Croix Rods

I blew up a 6'6" light tackle boat rod about a month ago on a decent fish landed the fish Figured since it was close to the end of the season and I had 2 more boat rods I'd wait til sending it in...and then about 2 weeks later I break the tip guide off another due to corrosion on the weld...send em both back to St Croix with $10 shipping check and the other day I get a brand new rod in by Fedex....only one...give it a few days and nothing else shows up so I call this morning...they just called back and said they screwed up and I will be getting a brand new rod for it

St Croix customer service rocks!

Them and Loomis. Those two are the only production rods I use, matter of fact I find that within the selection offered by those two companies I don't have the need for a custom stick which I once thought was the only way to go. ( I know, I know the custom sizing thing and individual wraps etc., etc., but custom rods usually have too much chit on them.) I spun my own for years and they were always done sparsly and the high end sticks by these two companies are that way. St. Croix and Loomis are great rods. Mike at M&D'S has a new line of Lamiglas productions that are interesting as well.

Why even try.........
