It was a blast. The fish weren't cooperating but it was still fun.
CharlieM, thanks for all those teasers. Didn't get to use them up there and I'm kicking myself for it. And thanks for showing us some spots before we hit the shop. They really look great. Tomorrow I'm hitting the reef and I already have a black over white bucktail teaser on.
John, thanks a bunch for letting Mindi use that sweet rod, taking us around, letting us use the gear I forgot at the room, planning this whole shindig and for the site.
Chris, how can I ever thank you for the ride to Fairfield? One day, make it down here sometime and we'll fish the reef or some of the other spots I know.
Don, thank you for letting us use your shop. It was great and you were full of great information and good service. It was cool to see Doug (rod builder with the shaved head?) building rods.
Thank you to all the people who showed up. It was nice meeting all of you. The food smelled great and it was nice to get away from Fairfield for a few days.
My only problem is I met so many people it was hard to keep names, faces, and usernames straight.
BM and JCX, too bad you guys couldn't make it. Mike P and Jaiem, I don't know if you made the long haul because I can't remember names too well but you gotta hang out sometime.
My best fishing memory of the trip was hitting the beach in front of the Andrea Hotel. Those were some nice 6-8 foot breakers. Even though I didn't catch any fish, I hope you guys have some respect for me now and know that I'm not afraid to get out there with the big waves and give it a shot.
John, if you notice it, I think I left Mindi's camera bag in your SUV. It's forest green and has a shoulder strap. I have the camera so don't freak out if it's light. Just hold onto it and next time I'm up there, I'll pick it up.
Thank you to all of you. It was great to meet up and I hope you all have a new perspective of me.

Good time! Hi Pak still rules John! Best part was chasing the deer in Specialists truck, I'm all out of venison! Saw some great looking plugs but they were never left alone long enough for this city boy. Looked at those "cute" breachways and pretended I was Ron Arra at the Ditch easily casting across them. I apoloigize to Specialist for "working" to party, you know I'm your HO and I still went home with you! Probably one more week or so for me then I'll be chasing deer. Will plan a codfishing trip if any one is interested this winter.

Cratt my buddy in Wesport says the water is still warm and there is at least 3-4 good weeks of fishing left. The venison can wait, we can put a spear on the front of my rig just in case.
