Plug Swap???
Any idea when we might get this thing started? I know most of you guys are busy fishing, but if we get it going now, we can make a later deadline to have them in. I just wanna get an idea about how its gonna work and what I'll have to make, as I can start some of them now.

I don't turn wood yet and I'm not coughing up a 9 foot surfrod for the cause but anything I can bring in trade?
I am very interested in building them but it might not be for a year or so...

I know Jenty said in the first message that the date can be set later, but does anyone have a rough idea? I'd like to get in but for the short term future (4-6 wks) I have too many irons in the fire to turn plugs. If I don't make this one I'll be ready for the next one. ...mrpogie

I would like to get everything set in stone now, and we could make the deadline a later date. That way myself, MrPogie, and others could turn ours now, send them in, and not worry about it. You guys could do yours whenever and have them un by the deadline. Sound Good? We need to figure out what we'll be trading for (I.E. rubber, bombers, jigs, etc.), find out who's in, and maybe get the ball rolling.
I was in RI last week and the pink needles seemed to be working good, and a couple locals complemented me on them. So thats what I'll do... 7" inch pink needles. Unless you guys want poppers???

Ya , I see that BM, but he does have a Level on the shelf
Guys, I think getting them to Tattoo by early December will put them in our grubby paws before Xmas in time to put them under the tree for us.
Mr. Pogie, we want you to be in on this one please.
I'd like to do 8" needles, blk and gold. any objections?
I think we should keep this one wood for wood this time.
If John and Got Stripers can't do that , then maybe try to set up a trade with us individually. You say you have jigs John? And I know Bob has rubba.
If we keep it under 10 participants it will be OK. So let's give it a couple days to get the final tally.
Thanks guys

BM - thats just "John's Playland #1" - netowk central the plugs/jigs/reels/rods/rod wrapper/tools (not many yet - just got the house)/and 4 blanks yet to be built are in "John's Playland #2" - the Basement. If I show you a picture of that, you'll need to call the Hazmat crew.... "John's Playland #3" is my "Sled" and that is equally loaded with stuff (but getting cleaned out tonight)... Will it make ya feel better if I put those pictures up?
Someone need a 10 GIG harddrive? That's gotta be worth a few plugs

I have some homemade poppers i would like to trade. I am still trying to design a swimmer type. But i keep improving the design on my poppers. Also i dont own any needle fish i never even used one Seeing i have never used one i am skeptical about there fish catching qualities. I am not even sure on how to fish them correctly. They dont sell them in the local tackle shops, here in the east bay you dont come across many of the habs or gibbs plugs. Also if anyone has any commercial lures that seem to outfish everything else let me know.
