4 of the 5 of us have had it. One gets over it and the next gets it. Two kids on antibiotics now.
The sinus infection is the best part.

I am taking four or five different medications for flu, sinus, and so on. The recovery rate isn't consistient.
How about you?

I'm on the rebound. Two weeks ago it was sudafed and amoxicillin. Nothing seemed to work so now I'm trying Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

God grant that I may live to fish until my dying day,
And when it comes to my last cast, I most humbly pray,
When in the Lord's safe landing net I'm peacefully asleep,
That in His mercy I be judged, as big enough to keep.

Airborne
You guys should try airborne its this new alka-seltzer like %$%$%$%$e you drop into a glass of water and drink. This teacher who was always getting sick from kids invented it. You take it at the firsy sighns of getting sick, or before visiting public places(airplanes, etc.). Its a bunch of different herbs and vitamins. Its worked killer for me. Ive started to feel like %$%$%$%$ and took it and was feeling 100% later on in the day. Ive used it 3 times in the last 3 months, so far its worked 3 outta 3.

Bassman, Notaro:
Try this $hit on for size.
It's China's answer to Wild Turkey. It's got a lovely fiery rotgut bouquet with just a hint of embalming fluid.
You might have some lying around the house, Notaro.

I'm on the sick train too. Hit me last Thursday like a freight train. Started with a little cough, now I'm hacking up something that looks like lung tissue. Can't breath through my nose, constant headache, can't eat or sleep and my lips are so chapped they bleed when I touch them.
As far as medicine, I don't like to take it. Don't feel like it does anything anyway, but I had to do something. Tylenol cold/flu and robitussin. I don't recommend it . Still don't feel like it has been doing anything. Gonna try this other stuff today, but I've got the most faith in the JW.

Crap, I think it knocked our whole town out right around New Years. Used unconventional methods to fight it. Used up anything with acataminophin and codene my kids had left over for the fever part, then found before bed a double or triple dose of Nyquil and a cough drop between my cheek and gum left me able to sleep thru the night without waking up gagging. The chest congestion takes forever to get rid of. Honest to god I felt really cold beer was the best thing to make my throat feel better and convinced the alcohol dries the snot out of you, too.

You are so right Bassman. It will cut your symptoms pretty good and if you take it as soon as you feel a cold comin on for a day, you won't get sick.
Only problem, it can cause some havoc with your stomach if you take it for too long.
