Talking Cow Killers

Large trolling swimmer. To be trolled around boulders and shallow water wrecks.

5/0 vmc 4x . Thats the biggest I had, but your right they could be bigger. Plug is only 10" long turned from a 4x4 cedar post. About the size of a short blackfish. Lots of guys around here fish with short blackfish, even though its illegal now. I know the plug looks big, and its certainly too big to cast but I troll alot and have caught bass up to 60 lb. on bunker spoons that were even bigger.
Matter of fact lots of smaller bass, barely keepers take the big bunker spoons. A friend of mine caught a 50 this fall on a live blackfish, so I thought I'd try to make a blackfish plug. I'll find out in the spring if its any good and can always tweak it then.

Don't laugh at those fat plugs, last year my 3 largest fish came on a Slamo (polish) plug called "the Fatso"...it looked a little like that
