Smile Another newbie

I'm just finding these boards. Just wish it was a little sooner... I'm not giving up yet. Gonna hit the canal in a few hours and see if anything wants to fight. Wouldn't mind a having some snakes but it's looking like jigs and swimmers. If we could just put this cold weather away for a few more weeks......

Unhappy Skunked

I added a couple more jigs to the canal this morning myself. Beautiful day but not a damn thing. Fished 0430ish till 1100. Threw everything I could starting with some heavy jigs. About a dozen or so others came and went. NOBODY did anything. Not even a bump! Gotta go farther south or start stacking wood!

It's slow in south R.I. also. If your lucky you may catch a blitz. Stacking wood, start burning it before you have to stack it.

Hi, NoSalt

Smokey some of us move it twice so the yard looks a little more presentable all summer. I'm stacking and burning at the same time. We'll get it stacked for january through march and dump it down the bulkhead as we need it until the snow stops us.
