Good deal. I got the stocking foot in January. The people at the store did not even know they were on sale.
I had to enter the code vm36888. Now you can enter tk36888

I stand corrected, they must have changed it in the last month. But they do still have them. Both codes will take you to them.

Anyone have any issues with these waders??
I was in the surf this weekend using these waders and they filled up with water. They did not leak but the water got inbetween the inner layer and outer layer of the waders and I had a hard timne in the surf. I was able to get out of the surf and when I did the water exited from the area between the boot and the material.
I called LL Bean and the tech told me that this is normal and to keep my waders hiked up as they do fill up when the waders are not all the way up.
Anyoine notice this??

My only complaint is that they are a little shoter than I expected; they pull around the knees when I'm climbing rocks.
No problems with water getting inside (that I've noticed so far).

Anybody familiar with how the bootfoot sizes run?(a little large or a little small) And how is the foot insulated, would you buy them a little larger?

OK - disregard that... thought I had a "code" that would work.... but sadly no...
Anyone have these? Stocking or bootfoot?

I was just about to call and cancel my order
They are great waders John... IMO they are comperable to the orvis silver labels. I got the stocking feet ones, only because I have a love affair with the studded aquastealth wading boots that they sell, but if i didnt have the boots i would have gone with the aquastealth soles..

John
This sale going on since Jan 3rd or sooner.
I have the stocking foot. The color is solid brown and not the two tone newer models. They discontinued the model that is on sale for the updated ones that cost more. I have them in front of me Is there anything you need to know.

When these went on sale the employees did not know about it. There were people that went there when this was annonced on another fish forum site and still noone knew about the sale.
Now here is the key. If you had last years catalog you would enter the code of the waders and it would bring you to the page with the sale price. There was no other way to find the sale thru there web site at that time.
I was suprice they had some even then, I wonder if they have any now.

I called them around 8 to get some info, but they didn't have my size. Wish I knew about the sale back in January.
The sales rep told me the difference between these and the newer ones was the sole design. Last years model sale price $119.95 new model $259.95. If they have your size jump on em'.
Figure it's a pair of these or Simm's for the warranty. Guess I'll just wait a little longer to see what happens. If anyone has a pair of bootfoots still interested in hearing about the fit.

I dont own that particular model. I purchased the cheaper Bean breathables last year. I forget the model but they were around $120.
All I can say is their performance has exceeded my expectations. Since I live about 30 min. south of Beans. I have had the opportunity to put several of their items to use. Either in my hunting or fishing pursuits.
Everything Beans sells is backed by the best warranty in the business. Go check em out. You can't go wrong.

Thanks for the info Eben, I just ordered a pair. These will replace an old pair of Hodgeman, which I was happy with, but its always good to have a back-up or an extra pair when my father visits and at that price - how can you resist?
And, yes, you should get a kickback for all these sales, or at least a commission from LL.
