Uhhhhh.......(yawn)...
Uncle Crafty just woke up from his turkey coma...man, that L-tryptiphen in turkey oughta be marketed as a sleep aid.
Well, it was a good bird-day - the lovely Mrs. Angler outdid herself again as usual, already got what's left of the bird in the stockpot simmering for the traditional post-Thanksgiving turkey soup.
The other big tradition around here is the evening turkey/dressing/cranberry sauce sangwich and an ice cold beer...yup, it was a good one indeed.
On a serious note (or as serious as I'm likely to get), I think it's a good thing for us all to have our traditions to turn to now and enjoy our families and friends during the holidays. We all have a lot to be thankful for.
As for myself, I see a massive turkey sandwich in my immediate future...
So hope you all had a good one.
And you're right Tattoo - you almost did see Crafty in that photo - I was gonna go there this morning but Mrs. A. had me making a pumpkin pie, among other things.
Okay, the pie turned out a little...uh, spicy, maybe but it was my first time and I never exactly did the Home Ec thing, ya know.

...crabs = Hogs = Rocks = cussin'....
...hey Fish Eye!!..how was your Thanksgiving??..
..funny thing is, I was right around that corner in your picture this morning ...started off with hand-numbing wind until the sun popped up and turned it into a beautiful day...met a New Yorker named Gerald who was up here with his Son-in-law and daughter, he decided to wet a line before going to Johnny's for Dinner...he was looking for the elusive striped ones but after many failed attempts he decided to try some of my "crabs"...
..Crafty~Hogs~yes~ ...Thanksgiving Morning ( tradition ) gonna hit it again in a few hours..and throughout the weekend...still got the case of the crabs ...

Folks,
I hope your holiday was as pleasant as mine. It was a quiet day spent with family and friends.
Bloo,
That's quite a talent your displaying. I love your perspectives and composition...can't wait till you get the right tools in your hands. You could well become the offical striped-bass.com cartoonist! That would be a good thing!
Slip,
I just might turn up and the turn-a-plug turnout. It sounds like a great time. I'm working on a new lure made from the turkey wishbone. Right now, I'm wishing I was fishen'.
Calling all blueberry bobbin' fans,
Anyone up for bobbin' in blond this afternoon?
Mike

Heyah - Happy T-Day to you too...
Sweet pics - You just gotta love all of the spots like that up & down Rhodys Lil' Shoreline. I have yet to shore fish Jamestown/Newport/Little Who? as I've only done a few drive bys but that looks sweet, just like Narragansett...
SWEET....

True, too many people had there chance stolen to do that in the past few months... If we spend a little more time with that family this hoiliday season, we'll ALL be better for it....

Hmmm...let's see...
Nope, I don't think I've ever been there, Tattoo.
Wait a minute - yeah it does look familiar. I remember a looooong walk and no fish.
Yeah, that's the ticket - long walk, no fish.
Okay, maybe once...coulda been twice, I don't remember...geez, Crafty might be having an attack of Oldtimer's Disease.
It's either that or the enormous turkey sandwich I had for lunch.
I think I'm ready for another nap.
