OTW article: Menhaden

This months OTW has a good article on the state of Menhaden.
I had been very pessimistic on the stock return but after reading the unexplainable stock cycle's I am somewhat relieved.
I still think the Omega 3 industry is no help

My otw arrives about a week after i start seein the mentions of it on the web sites.there's gold in them there fish an big money is behind it.They grind em into a pill that lowers cholesterol.How do u fight that.In NJ we banned the factory boats an the increase of adult bunker on our coast has lead to some of the best Striper fishin anywhere's the past 2 yrs.Especially if ur a boat guy.its nothin to go out an have multiple 35#+ fish days. Till the bait boats wipe em out after a few weeks.I love live bunker fishin imo there is no better big fish bait.

Good article - some of my best fishing last year was livelining big bunker. There were decent amounts in Conn.
