Its pickin' up.

Just got back from a few hours fishing and got several decent fish.

A couple were even close to that magic 28" mark.I got those two on a blurple bomber of all things.Just about everything I threw either drew a hit or hooked a fish.

Woulda stayed longer but I only had sweats and 1 pair of rather thin socks on under my neos.I started getting COLD.My feet are still numb, but that's OK I don't mind.

The next week leading up to the new moon should really see things picking up especially if we get some nice toasty temps.

Anybody else fish(ing) tonight?Whatcha do?

Went this morning.Fished till 1pm.One hit no fish.

Looked real "fishy" this morning.Very light S wind, occasional sprinkle,a little chilly but not cold and nada.Oh well next time.

I went out at sunset… just a few twinkies. I tried a lot of new spots and was pleasantly surprised to find fish at each one, and no one was there to catch’em but me.

I also bought a new dry/splash top this afternoon… it was godsend in this rain, wind and waves. I don’t know how I ever managed without one.

Last I heard Sunday should be a nice day. I've already prepared my wife for a day of me fishing on Sunday.

I went out this morning and no striped fish to be seen. I did see lots of herring though.

thats why they call it fishing not catching
