Tech question

I am trying to put a lcd monitor with a rcd? connection I think thats what you call it looks like a computer printer female connection to a regular audio/vido connection from a DVD player the monitor has audio left and right but does not have a regular plug in type video plug is there an adapter that changes rcd plug to a regular video plug. and the power for this monitor is 12v 4a DC will that work in a car.

If the LCD monitor dosen't have RCA's or digital in then you're SOL.

Also you need an inverter to run the monitor.

Heres what Im trying to do I want to change my Regular TV to a flat screen monitor to play just DVD I dont need a tv in the limo but I do not want to pay $600.00 for a monitor any ideas on the cheapest way to go bigger screen 15" is what I want so what your saying is it has to have the plug ins for video not just audio this monitor I was looking at was 12v DC but it said 4a that is what I did not know about the amps.

Best Buy sells a box for $99 that lets you turn any PC monitor into a tv. It accepts Cable TV as well as RCA jacks. Sorry I can't remember the name of it but they should be able to help you at Best Buy.

Go to there website and they can tell you what stores carry it in stock

The converter that TDF said and an inverter for power may be your cheapest solution.

Mike - very different systems Computer -v- Conventional TV. Aspect ratios are different and resolution rates are significantly different. What kind of TV do you have there now? And is it currently connected to a DVD?
