Got one today from Boaters World, They are a clearance Item. Has the channel up and down on the mic. $99

I guess thats why this was on Clerance it doesn't have DSC. OVER AND OUT

that
, most people seem to prefer Standard Horizon or ICOM these days.
Probably can't go wrong for $99, however.

Nothing wrong with Raymarine!!
I also have a Icom Handheld and it is pretty good.
There all made to the same FCC spec. The thing that sets them apart is the waterproofing and shock resistance. And if you go with the better names you can't go wrong. IMO
