One of "My Rocks" on PROJO Front Page 6/9/05

The Providence Journal has been running a series of articles about Block Island. They started on Sunday and end this week. The articles are very well done and give the reader some insight into how the island has been preserved over the years. Nice to hear about some of the islanders that I was fortunate to meet during my times on the island. Here is the link to each article:

It's been a good read. But even though everyone patting themselves on the backs about preserving the island, I wonder how the Native Americans feel about the articles. Were'nt they the ones who ORIGINALLY owned the land, not those white settler families. Just a thought.

GREAT presentation! I have been there before but because of this presentation I will have a different feel about the place.
