Hi Guys,
Which boat ramp on Jamestown would you recommend? Is there a fee also?
Thanks, Jeff

I'm told by a reliable source the ramps in Jamestown are all shallow, poorly maintained and have no parking. The only decent ramp is downtown (under the newport bridge) and there is no parking at all there.
I would recommend the ramp at Wilson Park in Wickford if you are planning on fishing the west bay or don't mind running. Don't know where any of th eramps are on the east side of the lower bay

This link should help.
Unfortunately I can not give you any firsthand information on any of the ramps. You will have to scroll down as fresh water ramps are listed first first.

Wilson Park is a good choice;
Fort Getty isnt bad, but they want $$$$

Thanks guys,
I'll try Wilson from home.
I'll be spending the following week down at Scarbrough at a rental so most times will go out of Galiee.
Best Rgds, Jeff
