TUNA TRIPS!!!!
Baitcaster and I have been doing some talking and we would like to put an offer out to members of this board and there friends and families.
We are offering Tuna trips for 4 people for $800 for 8 hours. I know this sounds like alot, but tuna gear and fuel are quite expensive. This is also quite a discount on our regular price. But being as everybody we know on here are such great people we want to offer this up for anybody that might be interested.
Here are some things you need to know.
1- There are no guarentee's on getting fish, although there are alot out there right now. We have many rods and different gear to try and get them hooked up.
2 - Fish will be devided by the 4 members of the trip.
3 - Weather permitting, or we will reschedule if nessesary.
4- the fish we have been seeing here in MA have have been averaging 30-150 + lbs.
SO if anyone is interesed, even if you can not come up with 4 people we may be able to put some shared trips together if you are interested. SO either PM us or call us. Our phone numbers are on our site www.billandjulsfishing.com
We have put 2 tuna in the boat out of 4 trips, 1 fish at 50 lbs and 1 fish at 100+lbs, so thats not too shabby as the fish god's have been shining on us!!!

Hmmm. Can I ask how far you're going out, and what approach you're taking to get 'um? Trolling? Chunking? Any shot at getting other pelagics besides BFT? (YFT, Mahi?)

Jules,
Glad to hear you are finding tuna.
In a sort of unrelated question, have you checked out what your tuna have been feeding on these days?

HI WeeWee, fishing for BFT and Big blues, out there about 30-35 miles offshore. There is also cod and haddock around that area, but will be hunting tuna only. Trolling, casting, live bait, whatever it takes.
Yep Fish On, it is one sweet ride.
Flatts1, they have been feeding on short beak ballyhoo, small tinker macs, and I do mean small. also feeding on herring, I hear there are some BB bunker around, but can't confirm that yet out there. Most people are probably seeing small herring not bunker, but there is small bunker on the cape so it won't be long if not already.

Hey Jules, if the tuna btie stinks, cod and haddock fishing can be substituted for that? Just curious.
