No really, we live in a quiet seaside town, there's really only a few hot days a year
This could be the last year we go without airconditioners. Kick myself for not getting them sooner...

Actually, the salubrious climate of the Isle of Peace has been quite pleasant of late.

Massive thunderstormage tonite. We finally got our rain. I was driving home, and there were more frogs hopping across the roads than I could have counted. I tried to avoid them, but I think I flattened one or two. Poor little guys. Nice and cool out now that the rain's over; gotta love it.

The worst day fishing is better than the best day working. ...Wait a minute, my work IS fishing. Sweet.

We got rain here for the first time since may. My sister and I stood out there, and it wasn't humid at all, and outta nowhere she says "Oooh, this is what rain is!" Then we heard the frogs swimming around in the pool again, sounded like they were happy, so we didn't bug'em.

Katie, how much rain did you get?
We got DELUGED yesterday with a pretty violent thunderstorm, starting at 3 p.m. and subsiding at 10:45 p.m.
I never saw so much rain!

Still no substantial rain yet. Car was wet this morning but the lawn, dust and dirt field, is still bone dry. Love the cool air though. Paul
