What in the world are we doing wrong????

Hi Guys, it has been quite a while since I have posted about anything because I am just not having any sucess. So I am hopeing that some of you veterans can please help me out. I live in Revere Ma. and fish out of East Boston (thats where the boat is docked). We have tried everything from trolling tubes, lures spinners with worms, Live eels and so on.... We try drifting, anchoring, trolling you name it i think we have tried it. Now I do ok catching schoolies but we have never caught any stripers of size. I always hear about boat fisherman having great sucess. So what are we doing wrong? How do all these charter boats GAURANTEE A KEEPER OR THE TRIP IS FREE???? We have been fishing all year and have "0" keepers from the boat. Just to give you an idea of the areas that we fish we start out around deer island, in the rip, and all the way to egg rock off Nahant. Now please I am begging all of you for the missing info that we are so desprately looking for! If there is some secret info that you dont want to post but would still like to help a felow fisherman out you could send it to me in a P.M. and I will keep what is shared with me to myself. Or you can send me an instant message on AIM if you need to know anymore specific things that we are doing. Please I am pleading with all of you HELP US OUT PLEASE?
Thank You!

I"m no boat quy (others here have better knowledge), but a general question - Are you fishing @ day or night? IF both, disgregard this statement.

no luck

i'm no veteran, and no boat fisherman. but i know that in the summer months there are very few stripers to be caught on the north shore when the sun is out. my best bet for summertime catch is most always in the dark.

if you have a fish finder, motor around till you find a nice tidal rip and look for holes or divits on teh bottom ( boulders, depressions) that are holding fish. anchor up tide and chum for a while, then drift back an unweighted chunk. leadcore works swell too.

if you dont catch anything, i suggest golf
