Unhappy Pee-You

I got a wonderful surprise this afternoon when I came in from the boat, got into my car, and remembered I had left the (2) squid I had bought 2 DAYS AGO on the floor in the back of the car ROASTING in the sun...........WOW.......when I got home tonight, I left the windows open hoping a skunk would crawl in the car, roll around in a used diaper, have diarrhea, then die in the car.........even that smell would make my car smell better then what it is like now...........DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME..........

I once forgot to remove about 5 lbs of squid on my boat that sat on the mooring for 4-5 days baking in the sun. Got a call from the marina saying someone died on my boat. That was the worst thing I've smelled in a long time. My buddies son actually yakked before we got out of the dingy.
Maybe it was my imagination, but I still got a hint of that smell a couple of years later when I sold the boat.

2 dozen macks left in the trunk for a couple days. kept wondering what the small was till i went to put groceries in there .
left them in the shoping cart at the supermarket.

someone using my fish cleaning table and tossing three floating bluefish carcasses into my herring pen while i was away for the week. the marina loved me after that one

Squid is some bad stuff when left to cure in hot closed areas. It is really nasty. When I was boy (before I could drive) I came back to the car after fishing and my mom was still at the beach. I slid my box of squid on the muffler (so I would not loose it) and then went to the beach to get my mom. We drove home, put the car in the garage and two days later the smell was so bad you could not enter the garage without gagging. My dad said he could not find where the smell was coming from but it smelled like "old bait" to him. As soon as he said "bait" a light came on and I said OH! I put some squid on the muffler of the car and forgot about it. They never forgot that.If I were you I would burn the car and collect the insurance $.
