Eels?

read an article in The Fisherman written by Charlie Soars. In the article he speaks of the decline of eels.I don't trap my own eels, but I do buy them and my supplier mentioned nothing about a possible shortage. Any body else hear any info on this or is this just another sign of armeagedon?

Make it idiot proof, and someone will make a better idiot.

the shop I buy most of my eels from can't get all he wants. There is something going on.

For the last couple of months most of the eels the shops around here get are coming from Canada and the Canadian government has put some restrictions on the export of eels. That the reaon why 1) shops can't get all they want and 2) the eels tend to be much bigger than previously.
