Archery Stores/Clubs in SE MASS

I am interested in checking out archery with my eight year old son, but haven't a clue where to go to find a club or a good store to find out more about the sport.
Can anyone suggest someplace in the Mansfield MA and surrounding areas to go to?

Reedys archery is a great store -- Definately where you want to go to learn all about archery. The owner Chris is a super nice guy and all of the employees who work there are extremely helpful as well.

However be aware that right now is PRIMETIME for bow season and the store will be unbelievably busy! I am sure you will still get great service but you might get even better service if you could wait a couple of weeks (this is not a knock against them its just that they are the BEST in the area and people come from all over to the store)

Also, be aware that they are a deer checking station and more than likely there will be lots hunters showing up there with dead deer throughout the day. If your son would be scared / grossed out seeing this it might not be the best time to visit.

Well, that is the direction I want to go with the archery thing anyway. Would be good to see it.
Thank you for the advice.

Just so happens I took my 6, 11 and 13 yr old kids to Trader Jans last night. I rented kids bows for them and let them have some fun. Yup they luved it. Trader Jans IMO is a much better shop then Reedys as far as shooting goes. Reedy is an excelent shop if you want hunting gear but their very in your face and sometimes all over you like a cheap suit. Traders has a good program called JOAD which is on monday and thursday nights and saturday morning, all about kids. I shoot at traders and get what i need at Chris Reedys.
