What tool did you make the biggest mistake buying???

This question came up in my mind when answering the drill press thread. For me it wasn't a costly mistake but one that if I had thought it out better would of definitely taken a bigger step.
IT would be my band saw without a doubt.
I figured wrong, that since I was working with small pieces of wood and making small cuts I would not need nothing more than a hobby band saw. Yes It works but I find myself overwhelming it way too many times. Plus if I had thought about it a full size band saw could of been used to mill rough stock. Instead I waste way too much material using the table saw's fatter blade.
It's also the only tool that "has got a piece of me" because I pushed it too far.
Anyone else wish they had upgraded right away or are thinking about a tool that they think would fill your shops need?

Winch, I also chose the wrong bandsaw and wish I got something different. Got a model from Sears aka kmart, that they discontinued shortly thereafter. It has a funky size blade which I dont think they make anymore. Plus I have outgrown it and does not cut well. Saving my pennies for something bigger and better.

Funny - I have a very large bandsaw and found it a pain sometimes and bought a smaller one. Now I only use my big saw for large (non-plug related) jobs.

Hi Cranium - I will come through with a report - sorry for the delay.

None!!! But I almost bought a scroll saw instead of a band saw. That would have been a mistake.

Being new on the plug scene (relatively) and needing a bandsaw...I went straight for the gusto and bought a 12 inch Jet! No regrets there for sure! I do not believe in settling for anything less than the best!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!
