Couldn't agree more...

Last time someone snuck bananas on one of our charter boats all sorts of electronics started going overboard within a day. 1 cell phone and then 2 brand new $500 digital cameras.

Swearing at the fish.
Saying stuff like, "C'mon you "blinkity-blinks" bite!"
I've asked people not to swear at the fish around me. I say it kind of jokingingly, but I won't fish with someone who does it all the time. I try to not even think it.

Buying an insulated fish bag measuring 60"x20" ( 120# fish capacity) will guarantee you won't land a 40#er for more than a year.

that must have been what happened just before i hit the beach yesterday. someone, maybe the guy that was leaving just as i arrived, must have been swearing up a storm at them because they were totally non cooperative the rest of the night. they were so mad they had the water kicked up big time....

Actually the Black Cat thing.

on 3 seperate times as I was driving to a place to fish, a black cat ran accross the street in front of the car and all 3 times I got nada....except for a bunch of snags and lost gear.

I also know that If I forget my pliers I WILL catch bluefish...that happened twice this year.
